So... what makes good horror games? The answer is kind of complicated, and since this is really a simple game I will shorten the list. First off: atmosphere! The dark forest and sounds really set off a good place to die. Humans are social beings, and being alone is one of our major weaknesses, and Slender takes advantage of that. While this game is really difficult it is possible. The more pages you collect, the more aggresive Slender gets, following right behind your every step. Tension is also a big factor: you see the page, and get a rush of elation. But you see a gaunt face peeking out of the trees. Just the fact that you have to get the pages, but Slender might already be their makes it kinda creepy. While the game to play is not very scary (the enclosed ones like warehouse are creepier because sometimes you have to turn around and Slender might be there) sometimes it really gets your heart pounding. For me, the scariest part is whenever you are home in the dark, you remember this game, and dont want to move. However, it is much like Slender on the PC. The controls can be a little iffy at times, but it adds to the oh god element of horror. ENJOY!

So it was the first time I played it and I was like this is probably crap so I played it at midnight with the sound on my headphones all the way up and that LOUD beep you here when slender is near that is what made me scream best slender game on mobile devices ever

Decent game. Easy game play. Creepy but nit super scary.

Horrible senceutivty but good

This game is fun and a little scary. You get to walk around the woods and collect 8 pages and try to survive Slender Man. Its a little hard to control on my iPad though. But this game is okay for older ages. Kids under the age of 8 might get scared depending on how easy they get scared. Hope this review helps :P bye

When I first got this game I thought it was like the rest. A stupid knock off of the original Slenderman that was only a demo. But when I started playing the game came alive and I felt as if I were actually in the woods collecting pages. This is a phenomenal game and I hope that you can make more.

I couldnt sleep and I remembered my siblings played this game and talked to me about it so I searched it, looked at the reviews and saw that they were good. So I thought "Okay, it has good reviews so its a good game. Ill download it and play it tomorrow during the day." However, my curiosity couldnt resist. Even though I spent a good 20 minutes thinking whether I should play the game or not since I am pregnant and almost due! I kept thinking it wasnt a good idea for me to play this game unless I wanted my baby girl to come out tonight. My husband is LOUDLY snoring beside me, its very windy outside, trains pass by all night long nearby and you can hear it every time they go by and the walls in my apartment tend to make this cracking loud noise every now and then. It wasnt dark because I keep my walking closet light on since I get up a lot in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. However, it was actually off but since I know I get scared easily I was smart enough to turn it on. Anyhow, the atmosphere around me was creepy enough and I still decided to play the game (only because Im already used to my husbands snoring, the cracking or popping noises the walls make and my light was on). I was trying to get familiar with the controls and looking around to see where I could go. All of a sudden my screen gets all staticky and I couldnt do anything then I see this weird face on the screen. It gave me a good scare! I probably made this very weird and ugly face and just got the phone away from my face as soon as I saw that on my screen. I was probably in shock for a few seconds. Thank goodness I was mentally prepared for it, had it on mute and my light was on. Otherwise baby would probably be here

I cant believe how good this is

I liked Slender when I first heard about it, but this iOS version takes Slender to the next level by bringing it to mobile.

I love the energy system, and especially the shop, and slender coins. The gameplay is good, and creepy. On the later pages he teleports right in front of you though. This is dumb, and unfair. You can also survive forever with the ads. Make it so that you can only watch one ad each game.

This game is really good and really fun but its took me forever to get to download and this was the first game I have ever got on my new iPhone

I mean, its a decent game and all but its all commercial. Energy runs out (just from walking, not even seeing slenderman so its inevitable) unless you _buy_ more, you can only get so far until you get caught (even if you werent even looking at slenderman) and can only continue if you watch an ad, which isnt that bad but the worst is immediately when you open the app, it floods with ads that you accidentally tap as a result of them appearing right before youre about to press the level! And then after you go out of the AppStore that it took you too another add pops up because apparently they cant have a game unless its flooded with ways to make extra money. Deleted and forgotten. Sorry not sorry.

I see my review from wayyy back is still on the poster for this game to sucker in players. While in some ways this is still one of the closest to the original 8 pages game, in terms of graphics and such, the game desperately needs to return to its roots with earlier versions. The sheer number of ads that bombard the player takes away from the excitement, and its annoying how often they pop up on both the menu and everytime the player dies it asks if youd like to see an ad to continue. The life bar at the top is another thing that needs to go. Part of the fear factor in playing this is in not knowing when or if slenderman would get you. The depletion of the bar is a giveaway that your about to die and coupled with the fact that slenderman makes you look at him, its also cheap. Keep the face cam and everyplay record and share features however. Its cool to be able to let others see your replays. The new levels are good add ons as well. While i can take or leave the slender coin feature, some of the features you can get with them (night vision additional levels and a page finder) are cool. Keep these but do away with continues. In short, Return this game to being more like past versions from 4 or so years ago and perhaps keep the share features. Its annoying as hell to play as is.

They did a really great job at the game. The thing is Im trying to find the papers but its hard to find. I will prefer this game if you are not scared of SLENDERMAN.!
